Bob and Mark were pleased to have the opportunity to put the prototype of the brand-new Ten2 through its paces, and we're happy to say that it again raises the bar for Acoustic Image products.  The Ten2 combo (and its matching extension cab) are the world’s smallest and lightest dual-tens - and the only ones to offer transparent 360-degree AI sound.
 This brand-new model to the Acoustic Image line, the Ten2 Combo, offers significantly more midrange presence compared with other AI enclosures, without the
typical “hump” served up by traditional cabs. This is, in part, thanks to a new crossover which also corrects for phase differences between downfiring and frontfiring drivers.
In addition, they have added their new proprietary Room Coupling Control to help tame boomy acoustic settings. Thanks to its frequency range and frontfiring woofer, the Ten2 is well suited to bass, guitar, piano, and vocals—in fact, to any musical application calling for a more forward presentation of the time-honored AI sound.
The Ten2 combo also incorporates an 800W Clarus+ head and the Cabrio Docking System, which allows you to separate the head from the cabinet for independent use.
Note that the photo to the left is a prototype of the Ten2; the production model does not have the "Spiderman" grille (which was custom-made for the prototype) - the production models feature the more subtle grille shown on the official product photo to the right.

- Combination Jacks allow the use of a 1/4 inch or XLR input; input impedances are 1 megohm (1/4 inch) or 600 ohms (XLR) based on jack chosen, separately buffered

I received my A.I.Ten2 with ext.cab Friday and played a gig that night. I am very happy! Thanks to the informative tip sheet that you sent at the time of the order, I was prepared enough to "plug and play". Unbelievable sound for my upright! Worth every penny! My band mates loved the sound and the ext. putting bass on both sides of the bandstand. I appreciate your efforts to supply detailed information and to make available the stuff we bass players need. It's a lesson in how to create a loyal customer.
