I'm helping Bob Gollihur -- my dad, and the original founder of Gollihur Music, now retired -- sell off some of his "extra" personal music gear, and here's an interesting preamp for acoustic instruments that you might find useful!

This is a nice preamp, designed to be excellent as an interface for recording or live use. Clean sound, with the BBE process (a specially designed sonic maximizer) brings acoustic instruments to life! Lots of useful features, with a pedal format and versatile output options.

This is originally designed for acoustic guitars, and is "voiced" as such, but it can also be used with other acoustic instruments, like mandolin, ukulele, banjo, cello, violin, double bass, and more. Its 2.2 megohm input impedance should work very well with most any piezo-based pickup. It also features an effects loop, a tuner output, muting, a notch filter, and more.

  • Three band, recording-console quality eq with a sweepable mid-range band
  • Low-frequency notch filter
  • Phase reversal
  • Ground lift
  • Line level out
  • Dedicated tuner out
  • TRS effects loop
  • Pre/post switchable-balanced DI output with pad
  • Hardwire bypass
  • Non-slip rubber bottom
  • 12v power supply included

This unit is near mint; it includes the original box, original instructions, original power supply. It's barely used, and has been kept in its box. I find one minor "ding" in the finish, just below the button on the right (see the last photo, above) but it's very minor. It's otherwise minty-fresh. Even the manual and other paperwork doesn't look touched! (The box is a little dinged up from storage.)

A nice opportunity to pick up a well cared-for unit at a discount!
