Description

These strings are a special purchase that we were able to obtain for a really good price. They are an excellent choice as a "hybrid" string - they can be plucked (pizzicato) or bowed (arco). Tonally, they have a good response with a strong, powerful sound.

Of course, they are flatwound, as is typical of strings that are able to be bowed. They are considered a "medium" tension string, and have pretty average flexibility. The outer winding is tight and precise, and these strings should be long-lasting and durable.

Standard, medium-tension 4-string standard tuning set. We only sell these strings as a set.

String Gauges:

  • E .105
  • A .082
  • D .068
  • G .046

String Lengths:

  • Ball end silk (from inside edge of ball end): 4in
  • "Playable" length: 52in
  • Pegbox silk: 9in

Silk colors:

These strings are very affordable and are only available in a very limited quantity. Our current stock availability is accurate and is listed just under the "Add to Cart" button. Once we sell out of the strings we have on hand, they are gone for good.
