Eurosonic Orchestra Upright Bass Strings

The Eurosonic tapewound strings have developed a cult-like following with many bassists over the last 2+ decades that we've carried them. Made in Poland, they are well-made, durable strings. Now we're adding this "orchestra-flavored" string from this trusted manufacturer.

These Orchestra variants have a similar steel "rope" core to the tapewounds we've carried for decades, but are wound with flat chromesteel for excellent bowability and a more traditional steel string appearance. They break in quickly, with stable tuning almost immediately.

They are designed primarily for arco play in an orchestral setting, so they have a warm, darker sound that can be quite powerful when you "dig in."

These strings are a more affordable alternative to other arco-specialty strings, and would be excellent for both a developing player or a professional.
