We're getting down to the wire, as far as getting gift-y items to you in time for holiday gift-giving. Every year, we post a calendar of order deadlines (and shipping options) to get your stuff on time.

With everything going on with the Post Office right now, I urge you to order early - and not count on their "service expectations," especially as we get closer to Christmas. It's just not that likely -- with the added volume, reduced staff, and other factors that are making them less efficient (than they've been in years past) -- that they're going to provide delivery as quickly as they say they can.

If timeliness really matters, consider using an upgraded UPS service. We have discounted, real-time rates available in your shopping cart (and at checkout). We also have gift certificates, which are EMAILED to the recipient (or to you, if you prefer) as soon as we approve and process the order. So that can be a way to get gifts really fast.
