Full Color Double Bass T-Shirts

Building upon our "Nation of BASS" T-shirt that we debuted in 2025, now we have these three new T-Shirt options for those double bassists who want to rep their instrument with style.

These are very nice quality, 100% heavyweight (5.3 oz) cotton, brand-name shirts (Gildan). The artwork was developed by yours truly, and is exclusive to Gollihur Music.

We've got three different designs:

• The "Colorful Banner" design is a lovely line-art bass in front of a waving... well, colorful banner. Artistic, but using muted colors, I think it's bold but classy.
• The "Life is Too Short" design is a tribute of sorts to Bob Gollihur. He coined the phrase, "Life is Too Short for Bad Tone." He used it often as a signature line in emails and on forums like TalkBass and others. It's a pretty good credo to live by, if you ask me. And it's written in a fun font next to a colorful tie-dye vibe bass illustration.
• The "Patchwork" design features another line-art bass, but this one is in front of a more boldly colorful, stylistic patchwork design. I think it pops!

All of the designs are full-color, high quality transfers pressed onto black heavyweight cotton, name-brand T-shirts. The transfers are double-heat-sealed onto the shirt for long life and durability.

Wearing this shirt at a gig could be somewhat dangerous; by "outing" yourself as the bass player, you're inevitably going to be the one that the soundman, club owner, and bartender will come to for questions (as the bass player is almost always the most likely to have the answers). 


This is a custom item, and may only be available for a limited time.

As mentioned, it is 100% cotton, and based on personal experience, I recommend hang-drying to reduce/prevent shrinkage. The printing service also recommends turning inside out when washing (and if you choose to machine dry) to protect the print from premature wear.

Note - some pictures of the T-shirt products are composites; the appearance of the actual product you receive may differ slightly (the ratio of the size of the print versus the shirt) depending on the size of the shirt you choose.
