Limited Edition "AHBG" Bob Gollihur Tribute Cap/Hat

All Hail Bob Gollihur.

This was a common sentiment on the online bass forums, particularly TalkBass.com, when Bob was very active online. He was always willing to pitch in and help folks with their questions, concerns, problems, and so on, as it related to their bass instruments and gear. And over the years, he earned a stellar reputation for being friendly and helpful, with no expectations of gaining a sale or other compensation.

Even after Bob retired from Gollihur Music in early 2014, he continued to provide helpful assistance whenever he was able, and continued to be a considerable presence on the forums and Facebook groups. It was very common to find the acronym "AHBG" sprinkled among posts that mentioned him, thanked him, or directed people where to purchase their bass wares.

We lost Bob to cancer in July 2022, and his loss is still keenly felt by his family and by bassists everywhere.

This limited edition cap honors his memory, with a custom design that features a playful "AHBG" embroidered on the center of the hat. It also has a two-tone bass clef and a ribbon signifying awareness/support of oral, head and neck cancers. At the bottom of the design reads Bob's signature phrase: "Life is too short for bad tone."

The Hitwear® name-brand cap is all black and features an adjustable snap-back closure for adjustable sizing. The inside of the cap has a comfort sweat-band around the interior. The one-off design is embroidered onto the stiffened front panel in three colors.

This is a custom, limited edition item. ONLY 25 hats are being made available and each hat is individually hand-numbered (on a removable sticker - see photo). This is the only run of these hats we'll be making.

The profits from the sale of these hats will go to one of the local health charities that Bob personally requested.
