Silver Series Lightweight Double Bass Cover/Bag

Personally, I prefer a bass bag that has dense padding to protect my instrument, because I'm a klutz and I bump the doorway about every third time I take my bass out. But sometimes, you just want a lightweight bag for less strenuous duty.

Maybe you take the bass out very infrequently, and you're super-careful and are the only one handling your bass. Or you struggle with wrestling a big, stiff bag, and something much easier to handle is what you need. Or your gig venue has very limited space, and you need a cover that can ball up into a very small package for tucking into the corner. Maybe you only need a "dust cover" for the music room, and don't require all the padding and fancy features on the more expensive bags. 

Or, you're an old dog, and new tricks are not in your repertoire; you got along fine for years with an old canvas cover, and you don't need no high-fallutin' fancy padded bass bag that's obviously made for sissies.

Folks have been asking for such a bag, and now we've got them. Made with sturdy 600D nylon with a very lightly padded, non-abrasive lining (3mm thick). It features multiple handles, as well as accessory and bow pockets. It even has backpack straps! A very nondescript, plain black bag with a durable side zippered closure. Simple, effective, rolls up small, handles easy.

And it only weighs about 5 lbs!
