Audio Adapter: 1/4 Inch Male Balanced to XLR Female Adaptor

The D'Addario PW-P047AA is a balanced 1/4-inch male to XLR female adaptor. We originally got these to adapt the 1/4" input on your Acoustic Image Clarus SL head to access the microphone impedance and phantom power (for those units so equipped). With the closure of Acoustic Image, we have a bunch of these left over, brand new, first quality, in their factory package.

IMPORTANT: This is an ADAPTER, but not a TRANSFORMER. No, we're not talking about Optimus Prime(TM) here - a transforming connector would also alter the impedance (electrical resistance) from what a mic needs to what a line or instrument input would need; this creates an optimal signal path and makes for "uncorrupted" sound from a mic to a line input. This unit is ONLY an adapter, which allows you to properly connect a balanced XLR to a balanced 1/4" jack or connector.
