Description

We all know that a bassist will need a good cleaner/polish to get all the "shmutz" off of their bass - flakes and buildup of rosin, oils from one's hands, and various other contaminants. But if your bass has a fine varnished finish (or even if it has a spray on poly) you want to be careful to use something that won't eat away at, discolor, or otherwise harm that finish. And you don't want to use something that will leave a thick buildup, either. PUT THE PLEDGE DOWN!

Hidersine's Hidersol was first developed in 1912, and apparently perfected in 1927 - and you've been able to find it in various stringed instrument workshops ever since. It is primarily recommended for the cleaning and reviving of traditional stringed instrument varnish.

This traditional recipe cleaner and polish is safe for most varnishes; however, Hidersine (the manufacturer) recommends testing on a small, inconspicuous area before fully committing. It's easy to use - simply apply sparingly with a lint free cloth and polish until dry with a clean cloth. But they even include instructions for use.

50ml bottle (plastic) with spout. Made in UK. Use with care; contents can be flammable.

Due to postal restrictions, this item is only available for purchase to customers in the USA.
