This mono (one-channel) INSTRUMENT CABLE with two 90 degree ¼ inch connectors is used to connect a single pickup to a nearby preamp; examples of pickups that could use this would be the Realist, Full Circle, KNA DB1, Bass Max or Double Big Twin pickups, among others. You'd use it to connect to a mounted K&K single channel preamp like the Pure Preamp, or maybe some other small battery powered preamp from LR Baggs, Schatten Design, or another unit that can be comfortably mounted directly to the front or back of your tailpiece. The cable is excellent quality oxygen free, spiral shielded cable with gold-plated connectors to resist oxidation and corrosion.
