From now until the end of February, your product reviews earn FREE CREDITS towards your Purchases!

We've always done our best to have the most useful, real-world product descriptions on our website. But many customers want the added reinforcement of the honest, unflinching reviews by other customers just like them. Or, more accurately, just like you.

With our new website, we have the ability to collect and post customer product reviews. And we know that it is a valuable resource to you when you're shopping for gear. However, since our newly updated site is only 6 months old at this point, we have lots of products that still look like this:

So, we're resorting to bribery. For a limited time, we're gonna PAY YOU for your product reviews.

How? Using "BassBucks Rewards." It's our points reward program, kind of like airline miles; you get a "point" for every dollar you spend. You can redeem ponts (BassBucks) for a store credit coupon towards your next purchase.

Until the end of February, I will gift 100 BassBucks to your customer account for every approvable* review that you post at Gollihur Music. Since every 100 BassBucks = $1 in credit, it's like earning $1 per review.

* Wait, what's "approvable" mean?

It's common sense, really. First off, you need to use your name - otherwise, I won't know who to give the BassBucks to. (Log in first, it makes it easier!)

Just give us a good title and a tidy review that actually means something - it doesn't need to be a book, but a simple "It works good" won't cut it. If you enter reviews in the spirit of helping your fellow bassists, you're gonna be just fine. (And if I see a particularly helpful review, I might even add some bonus BassBucks!)

The reviews don't have to be five-star, glowing reviews. We hope you love what you bought, and if you loved it, please say so - but if you didn't, customers will still value your feedback and honest criticism. That said, we only approve reviews from customers who actually bought the stuff - and we reserve the right to reject reviews (and not reward BassBucks) for reviews that are inappropriate, faked, or spammy.

To write a product review, simply go to the product's page and click the link near the top of the page to "Write a Review." You can also click a link within your order history to review products you've purchased within the last 6-7 months.

Finally: for all of you kind souls since January 1 who happened to already post a review before you knew you could earn a reward? Don't worry, we hooked you up. Check your BassBucks page in your account, we've given you bonus points already. :-)
