Replacement Neck Heel Thumbscrew for Eminence Electric Upright Bass (Removable Neck Model))

This is a non-OEM replacement thumbscrew to secure the neck into the dovetail on your removable-neck Eminence Bass. The original that came with the bass had a wooden knob - beautifully crafted (see photos) - but those are currently not available.

This replacement has a smaller, low profile black knurled plastic knob, with a standoff, so you can get your fingers on it to loosen/tighten it.

It has the correct Metric thread count (M5 x 0.8mm) to securely keep the neck from sliding out of the neck slot which secures it to the body during use. You don't need to OVERtighten this knob, as it's really just there to keep the neck from sliding out - the steel dovetail does all the "heavy lifting" of keeping the neck on!

The photo shows a picture of the thumbscrew installed on an Eminence RN4, and a side-by-side comparison of the OEM knob and this replacement. Low profile! Won't interfere with your holding or playing of the bass. Looks stock.
