Knowledge Base (FAQs)
We want to share our knowledge. These pages are not "copied and pasted" from other sources on the web - we've spent many, many hours writing (and continually updating) articles on a wide variety of upright bass topics, along with some that provide tips on using specific products we offer. This is all original material, and if you've seen it somewhere else on the web, it's because someone copied it from our site and re-posted it (and I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know!) ;-)
You can browse the index of these articles below. Previously called the "FAQ" section, we've re-branded it the "Knowledge Base" because that more accurately reflects our intent to share the knowledge we've picked up over the last 20+ years.
It is our belief that "the more you know, the more dangerous you are," and these articles represent the tips, tricks, and product smarts that we've gained through experience. We hope that our philosophy of freely sharing this information will, in turn, make you more "dangerous" (in a good way!), helping you to be a more informed buyer -- as well as helping you to get the best from your instruments and gear.
We have sorted the list of our knowledge base articles into topic groups; hopefully you can find the answers or help you're looking for. We're always looking to add new articles, so if you don't see what you're looking for, please let us know!
